STronic calculating wrong speed

Hi All,

2 week owner of an A1 and the STronic is not as good as I expected.

Firstly the stop start is awful. I don't feel it go off but when I'm ready to move and the engine comes back on the whole car shakes. It's more smoother to switch the engine on from cold.

When slowing down, more obvious from a higher speed the car jolts forward and the rev counter goes up high, so the car is changing down too early. Also if I try and move off after slowing down a bit e.g. slow before turning and there is a gap before I come to a stop if I move off there is no power, if I manually change down I have the power I expect.

When pressing the gas I get slowly to about 10 mph and there is no power 2 seconds later the car shots of like a rocket, slightly better in sports mode.

When accelerating fast, gas to the floor, rev counter just increases and the gear doesn't change I have to release gas for the car to slow and re-apply the gas then it finds the correct gear.

I have found that even when in crawling in traffic at about 7mph it selects gear 2, surely this is too high ? At 30mph I can be on gear 6, again too high ?

What are all your opinions? Do you think this sounds like a fault? It's pretty much guaranteed if I let Audi connect it to their fault PC it will find nothing and they say it is fine.

Thanks
